It seems that everyone at some point gets stuck, usually when your not trying to
or don't want to, or the day you go on your own that it's most likely to happen. and when the friends can't bail you out or there is nobody around it's good to know that your not totally screwed.....! I trail ride and wheel with your card in my jeep, thanks for the added security....!! With fuel costs, repair costs, travel time, and everything else, it's a small price to have to pay to make sure you get out.....
from what i understand about half of what the other guys that'll come out..... keep up the service... twocents.gif cheers.gif

If I recall correctly it was $20 and the reason it was $20 was because there were a number of trucks all around you and your friends asked me to pull you just because I had a recovery "buisness" sign on the side of my truck. cheers.gif

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to step on any toes here.....

I am pretty sure that I would cough up some cash if I was out of options to get out. If the guy knows what he is doing, it would be worth it. I think there should be a token $2 buddy buddy charge anytime you get pulled out. Here's why.... I don't wanna waste half my day pulling guys with open diffs and bald tires out all day. My truck is built to get itself around. Trying to pull other trucks out isn't where it shines, and I don't like abusing it just because some guy wants to show off or doen'st know how to drive. I have pulled my bumper off trying to get guys out, I have put a 35" tire just about through the front of my box, all kinds of damage to it. (same guy come to think).... If you are stuck, and want to pay someone to get you out, then here is an option for you.. if not, then don't. If you end up pulling him out, then maybe you should get a freebie pull coupon or something... I dunno. I HATE paying to get out, and I am almost to the point I refuse to pull idiots out.... I am sick of stock Z-71's going out and planting their trucks, and then expecting me to pull them out. I just don't like leaving anyone stranded.

Ya... but you know how to wheel, and your truck works good, and you genereally don't do anything stupid.... What bugs me is the guys that go out with no experience, and no exipment, and point it at the biggest hole and pin it.... Helipng someone out isn't a problem, it's the idiots I have no patience for.... East of town, I used to pull at least one guy out everyday that had no business being there, in stock trucks usually, and rarely did I ever get a thank you.... That bugs me.

ok i was staying out of this thread till i read it start to finish so here it goes

i didn't have a clue about lemonaid offroad recovery or who jay was or anything but i ran into an issue maylong weekend with my truck.

i wasn't stuck but i had cooked my fan on trail. not an issue for most but a huge issue for me as i had 500+ km's to travel home and no cooling system.

i saw the big yellow dodge driving around, didn't know who they were and just wanting to get to know them better invited them to camp for a beer.

joking i asked the guys if i could buy a fan off of their truck to get me home. not expecting him to dismantle something off of his truck i figured what the hell it's still worth asking.

YOU KNOW WHAT..............................................................

they offered me a fan for FREE!

i'm not the type of person that could take something like that without paying them and even though it was offered to me i still payed them for being able to help me out to get me and my truck home.

so here's my public thanks to the boys of lemonaid offroad recovery

you guys are great, i'm happy to have you in the community and kudos for you guys for having the business

best of luck to you in the future

When your junk is busted up and stuck in the bush and you have done just about everything you can to get out, having a company you can call at that point in time to get you out would be a very nice option to have.

Do you offer trailer service back to cowtown also?

Still working on that .I do have a friend with a tilt deck trailer and another that works for a tow truck company in town with a flat bed. But these are not always available to me. Tried to look into getting a tow truck company to haul for me but this is to much money. banghead.gif cheers.gif
