This board is currently offline.
Because of the constant flooding by spam bots I am turning the forums off for the time being while I decide what I'm going to do with the site. At present, I spent most of last night removing all the spam that had accumulated and locked the offending accounts. Today more has surfaced. It seems all the built in security functions for this forum software will not block these spam bots. The only option is to have me approve every new user manually which I will not do. That would require me being tied to this thing all day every day to delete/approve members.
More than likely I will be shutting the site down for good. That was originally my intention several months ago but instead I kept it going because of the large amount of requests from long time users. It has come to a point where this site is creating more hassle for me than I really care to deal with. I thank those of you still here for the support you've given me over the years and I apologize for not giving this site the attention it deserved in the past year or two. Changing priorities have a way of doing that, and right now work and continuing education are at the top of my list.
I know there are several other forums out there so I'm sure you'll all still find a way to communicate with one another. These spam bots will have to find somewhere else to wreck :/
